Job Summary
Join Datavant as an experienced outpatient coder, responsible for precise medical code assignments in a remote role with flexible scheduling and competitive pay between $20-$35 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- AHIMA certified credentials (RHIA, RHIT, CCS)
- AAPC certified credentials (CPC, CPC-H, COC, CIC or CRC)
- 2+ years of coding experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in computerized encoding and abstracting software
- Compliance with HIPAA regulations
Desired Qualifications
- SDS/OBV Coder
- EPIC experience
- 3M360 experience
- I&I experience
- Proficiency in Emergency Department, Same Day Surgery, Ancillary, Observation, Injections/Infusions, E/M leveling
